Lodging to First Trust a/c in AIB

Just wondering if this is possible? Can I walk into an AIB and put money into my First Trust a/c or do I have to drive up north to do it?

If it's a cheque you can post it to a branch in NI with your account details and they'll lodge it for you.

Thanks guys. Very annoying how First Trust uses AIB's systems in name only. I guess it's 2 different banks under the same umbrella.
