Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I love ya Baz, but what's up with the WBA crest(s)? :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,842 ✭✭✭s8n

are we playing two WBA teams ??

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,283 ✭✭✭Smegball

17-0 United, Rooney to smack in 16 then lay the off VDS for an almightly kick upfield which knocks the ball and keeper into the net.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,688 ✭✭✭Nailz

    United win, I'll say 5-0.

Whilst WBA have 22 players on the pitch.

My prediction: Berba to score another classic, come May the premier league goal of the season will be a choice between 10 Dimitar Berbatov goals.

This game isn't a banker by any means.
The baggies have been in decent form so far this season and took three points away to Arsenal.
The way United have been limping over the line recently I can see this being a tough one.
United have the quality to win easily, it's just a case of the players getting their heads out of their arses, especially with regard to delivery from set pieces.
I'll say 2-1 United but it won't be easy.

    Glazers Out!

I thought the first crest didn't work, so I put in another.
I now realise that the first one did work.:o

Is Rooney gonna start today after his mid week rant at fergie??

It would be great game for Rooney to get back into form by grabbing a goal here today i think it will be 3-1 to United but won't be walk in the park!

It wasn't a "rant" and he probably will.

As has been mentioned before this seems to be a different West Brom to what we have seen in previous Premiership years.

3 points is a must though and please Rooney hit some form

Hopefully my eircom/setanta stream will actually work today

    2-0 for me.

Im excited by the prospect of Berbatov-Chicharito up front, could be a very nice partnership. Not thrilled that neither of Fletcher/Scholes are in there though...

Yeah, what's the story with Fletcher? I hope he didn't pick up an injury in international.

    Come on the Berbarito!

If i wanted to watch the match i'd have to sign up to a monthly contract i'm guessing and not pay a once off fee?

This is my first time watching setanta on eircom - what's it like? Is the quality decent? If not I might just head down the local...

Its a bit crap that you cant make the video feed full screen like the Sky player and RTE player! Plus I cant find anyway of disabling those fan comments to the right of the feed.

Fletcher's been poor of late, combined with the international, it's good that he gets a break. Beyond that, with Ferdinand back, our defence can better cope without him in midfield, and West Brom at home needs to have the creative passers in the middle to break them down.

Bad man-management on the part of Ferguson, this was the game for Rooney to find his feet.

He's in shít form, we're struggling to put games to bed, and West Brom are playing good football.

I tend to agree with the man whose man management reputation goes without saying.

Is anyone watching it on Shanghai Sports on Sopcast and is it still showing Tennis for ye?

As opposed to Hernandez's form which has provided no Premiership goals ever?

I really ****ing hate that this is on Setanta 1 now. Like there's no reason whatsoever to buy the channel bar the odd 3 pm game. I hope that RTE can re-buy the rights to these 3 pm games once Setanta go completely under.
