Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Runs a little fast compared to what i remember but its still awesome :)

    My best is 1100 so far :)

    I had a score? Jeez only played it for a few minutes, thats how much i sucked at it !

    Zaxxon, used to play it on a cousins Colecovision back in the day, an awesome conversion too, and a great game.
    Hard though! Sometimes very difficult to judge the heights for those little gaps.
    I think the spiritual successor has to Viewpoint on the NeoGeo, although it's out there for many formats now. Again, a tough son of a bitch.

    The true successor to Zaxxon is Zaxxon's Motherbase 2000 (Just called Motherbase in Europe) for the Sega 32X.

    NTSC isn't too expensive. However, unfortunately it fits into the 'game nobody cared about or bothered to buy' category in Europe and as a result is very expensive and rare. Probably made even worse by removing the Zaxxon name from the title.

    What I always found tough about that and Viewpoint was that the controls don't really correspond because the ship is going diagonally. Which does mess with my head a bit.
