Galway Nokia Repair E52 051.018 firmware

    For those living in Galway and are E- series owners it might be worth giving the Nokia Repair Centre in Eyre Sq centre a shout for a firmware update as I just got the latest firmware for the E52 from them (under warranty). They're sound in there as well.

    I had problems with that shop before.

    Went in as I had a charging issue with my E51. They said that because the device was water damaged (nothing ever happened, I take care of my stuff) they wouldnt fix it.

    1) The charging pin was bent, everything else was fine, water damage has nothing to do with this, they should have repaired it anyway.

    2) If there was water damage, it was caused by atmospheric conditions. If that damages the phone, then the product was not fit for sale as it could not withstand normal use.

    And they had the audacity of charging me €10 for telling me that. I had no choice as I had paid that as a deposit on the repair.

    I was robbed.
