    theres a few over on the netgear forums that bought it and returned it for a netgear WNDR3700 as they all had problems with the firmware i think.

    umm, firmware problems in putting there own on it, or the standard one?
    I have a dir635 and think the standard firmware is quite decent actualy.

    Id rather avoid netgear like the plague..

    AFAIK it was a combination of dodgy stock ffirmware and personal dislikes to the GUI
