Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Banana skin time.

Can see this being a struggle for a City, but anything other than a defeat will see us stay in second, and ahead of United, for the second week in a row.

A win will have us a win clear of third and just two points behind Chelsea.

    I've a good feeling about Blackpool today.:D

Won't be easy for City, but they'll pull through in the end.

Can't see Blackpool unduly troubling City; they aren't going to play blanket defence which wouldn't suit City at all imo.

    3-0 City.

2-1 City, Silva to produce if he plays

    No Holloway. 5-0 City.

I'll take a scrappy 2-0 right now, thanks. Tevez and AJ.

Hart, Boateng, Kompany, Lescott, Bridge, De Jong, Barry, Milner, Adam Johnson, Tevez, Adebayor.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,838 ✭✭✭✭3hn2givr7mx1sc

Will Lescott and Bridge be on the same side?
Could be a weak spot for City if they hard. Blackpool could exploit it with yer man(right winger, the name escapes me).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

    Varney?

Yeah they should be. Lescott has been very good lately at left back. Both Toures are injured btw.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,838 ✭✭✭✭3hn2givr7mx1sc

Aye, I think it's Varney I'm thinking of, he's looked a good player from what I've seen of him this season.
I never really saw what all the hype was about Lescott, tbh. Never rated him much and was quite surprised when City bought him. But I suppose that's what happens when an English player can play half decent on the left.

Don't think Varney's playing, just caught the end of the Blackpool line-up there.

2-1 Blackpool with Johnson to score first please. 350/1. Had a punt on that earlier.

But really I reckon City will win this and I kinda hope they do. Can see Blackpool falling away and ending up in the mix for relegation along with ourselves so if City can take points away from our rivals I'll be happy.

Not expecting a whitewash from City but hoping for a good open game with City to win it 1-0 via a scrappy goal from Tevez.

Love watching Adam Johnson. Absolutely quality.

Yep him Silva n Boetang are brilliant signings for City.

Yaya and Milner I'm not so sure

Man City being made look quite tame. Some sweet play by Blackpool.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Very lethargic from us so far. Blackpool playing well with confidence.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,480 ✭✭✭✭cson

Blackpool the team with all the idea's at the minute. City are pretty aimless.

Blackpool have been great to watch I'm delighted to see them this year playing good football and being rewarded for it too

    And now a goal disallowed!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

Flag up to deny Blackpool the goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Disgraceful defending from Lescott to get drawn to the ball and leave Campbell free.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,068 ✭✭✭Bodhisopha

Lescott is a bird brain. City miss Yaya.

Does anyone know of any decent stream?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

He didn't get a touch and didn't block the keepers view could of been given ya know

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,379 ✭✭✭✭A Dub in Glasgo

The fact that he went for it made the mind up for the linesman

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,951 ✭✭✭✭Villain

Theres an example of how referee's can be influenced, yesterday Gallas does the same as Campbell just did the flag goes up and Spurs get in the refs face and call him to question the linesman and he does and goal awarded. Blackpool made little complaint and ref just awards free out.

    Consistency my a$$

Ah FFS Linesman. He's well off!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,379 ✭✭✭✭A Dub in Glasgo

Lovely finish although he looked offside

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,570 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

And that's why Silva should be playing every game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,288 ✭✭✭✭ntlbell

    "funny aul game"

pool should be 3/4 - 0 up should have had a peno and now a goal down why ref's never give the little man a break

City are very lucky to be infront! Should be losing this, offside as well.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 164 ✭✭SportsGreatest

    Tevez! :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,951 ✭✭✭✭Villain

Tevez was offside, Blackpool not getting any good of the Ref today

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,531 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

The little things that go for you when doing well really. If it was lower table team, Johnson would've scored and prob be 2-0 before that.

    What a free-kick, so close.

He didn't get a touch and didn't block the keepers view could of been given ya know

he also wasn't off to begin with. Very unlucky for blackpool to have a good goal disallowed and a bad one given. Officials have decided a few of the games this weekend with poor decisions.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,951 ✭✭✭✭Villain

Man City have been very poor and really only for the Official's should be 1-0 down

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Should be two. Great hit by Jimmy.
