Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Uninstall

    I have Microsoft security essetials installed on my computer (windows vista) and I want to uninstall Norton and Macaffe ( both out of date and not working) but they will not uninstall.

    Also windows defender will not turn on.
    Had a virus last week ....could this be still causing a problem

    it could be causing a problem, you should also not have had multiple anti-virus programs installed/active simultaneously.

    then try uninstalling mcafee in safe mode: http://www.pchell.com/support/safemode.shtml

    download malware bytes(http://www.malwarebytes.org/) and install it, and run while you're still in safe mode.

    It gets worse.....
    I now see AVG is installed.
    I cannot uninstall this because Microsoft security essentials is installed.

    Any ideas on this please

    have you tried any of my suggestions above? you can also try uninstalling avg in safe mode, can you disable microsoft security essentials?

    I installed the malware but it was later uninstalled as I had to do a systen restore. Im having alot of problems.
    There is an issue with add ons... can you explain them briefly.
    I keep getting the message that windows 8 and avg tool bar are not compatable.
    I tried the avg uninstall but it wont work
    I did uninstall norton.

    I have my L plates on ... but hopefully I will get there.
