Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    HI

I was given a new laptop yesterday. It has Ubuntu as its O/S and I'm having trouble connecting to the wireless network at home.
Is there an automatic finder or do I need to enter the ip address?

    Very lost!

Open the command prompt, and type ifconfig - Check and see if wlan0 exists in there. If it is - It's just a matter of using ubuntu's wifi client manager - there should be a wireless icon on your taskbar, left click on it and it should drop down a list of available networks. Check if yours is listed there.
