Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Will I qualify for the dole?

Hi, I'm a 19 year old girl, I just quit a part time job I had for 2 or 3 months as it wasn't working out. I live at home with my parents, but only my dad works, as a self-employed builder. I have a younger brother and sister in primary school. I'm not in college this year and I'm wondering if I qualify for the dole? And how much I would get if I was on it?

Any information would be appreciated, thanks.

As far as I can see no.

You left your job, so not entitled to Jobseeker for 12 weeks.

You are too young to have enough PRSI contributions for JSB.

You live at home so, if you were entitled to a payment would be reduced due to your parents income.
