I got a buddy to do a guttering job, 3yrs on the house and since then they have turned out faulty and defective, the company he bought them off are gone bust and the manufacturers are not claiming any liability as it was done through a nixer. Just wondering whos liable at the end of the day

Get your so called buddy back. Other than that its your loss. I cant see how the pvc is faulty, just wasn't put up properly. People who arent familiar with this stuff, will always put up to few brackets, its fine at the time, seems sturdy, but then it sags, and falls off.

tis not pvc, its cast aluminium and is after oxidising, there is no problems with leaks or so its the product is faulty

This is what happens when you do things on the cheap. You have no come back from your buddy, any more than you would if you bought something from the back of a van. The manufacturer could claim that as you had it installed by someone that was not a proper installer, that he caused the damage.

If there's no leaks, then what's the problem?

It just looks absolute ****e as it's all discoloured and peeling and flaking away. It's disintegration is at an advanced level

You're contract is with the installer. How well do you like your friend? The only way to get it sorted is to hound them.
