    It will be difficult.
Offer to pay a higher deposit (obviously keep your receipts) and if you've rented before, a note from your landlord stating that there have been no problems with the dog might be a good idea. It's a tenant reference for fido :p

You can also place a tenant ad on daft.ie free of charge.

I had no problem renting with dogs but I have two very small ones that were out of the puppy stage etc so no problems with biting, peeing inside etc. We only had one when we moved in and got the second after 8 months or so.

What kind of dogs are they?

Try an ad in the Advertiser. We were looking for a dog-friendly house and had at least 8 calls. We ended up taking another house that was advertised elsewhere. It was wasn't advertised as "pets allowed" but I asked and it wasn't a problem. We have two dogs a labrador/collie X and a terrier mishmash ;)
    Good luck with your search!

As said above, offer to add 200 to the deposit for the dog. That's how I got to keep a pet in a non-pet house.
Advertiser/daft would be best bet for a house.

just used advanced search on daft depending on what you're looking for really it's mostly 3/4 bed houses though

AFAIK girl that's renting knocknacarra house is part of galway dog kennel and is dog lover so would be very happy to accommodate you and your canine buddy!
