Newfound interest in music

I've been listening to a few Journey and ACDC songs on youtube and I've enjoyed them quite a bit. I was never in to music in the past and really don't much about good bands and what not. What would be some other good bands that I should check out, similar to the two above?

Music Map would be a good start. Also check out the Rock or Classic Rock tags on Jamendo.

Try the Cars, they sound a little bit more 'poppy' but they have some great songs.
