Does epidural cost money?

Just wondering if epidural costs money or are there any other costs that I should be budgeting for. I do not have private health insurance. Things are very tight for us so I couldn't afford insurance but i am hoping there are no other charges etc. Any help appreciated. Bindi

If you are going public there are no charges whatsoever. If semi-private or private I think it does cost extra but your insurance usually covers it so not sure of the cost.
