Renting out an Affordable Home

Just wondering if the councils have relaxed at all on people who purchased an Affordable Home renting it out? I know of 2 residents in my block who purchased under the Affordable Scheme and are now renting the apartment out, one of them is doing it for about 3 years the other about 8 months. Do the council give a damn…
