iPhone .ics subscribed calendar issue

    I have setup an .ics subscribed calendar on my iPhone 3GS (running OS 4.0).

    The calendar in question is the calendar for the Leinster rugby fixtures:

    I follow the instructions to add it (http://www.leinsterrugby.ie/newsroom/downloadablefixtures.php):

    1. Copy the iCal URL that you want to subscribe
    2. select "Settings" on your iPhone
    3. Select "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
    4. Select "Add Account" under "Accounts"
    5. Select "Other? at the bottom
    6. Select "Add Subscribed Calendar"
    7. Select the "Server" box and tap ?Paste?
    8. Select "Next"
    9. Optionally modify the description

    Great it works!

    Thing is though, I find that the fixtures in the calendar dissapear after a while even when the calendar is definitely selected and active. To get the calendar/fixtures to come back in again, you have to go into the calendar settings and add it again as the instructions above, or switch the subscribed calendar off and on again... Even doing what I just mentioned only works sometimes. It seems quite erratic.

    Has anyone experienced something similar before?
