That's not fair, she had a heart, it was just very small and black.

Sometimes the comments made on here are just sick...

The woman was a politician and did what she thought was best at the time I would imagine.

She is now an 85 year old sick woman...

Some of you on here have wished and agonising death on her, hope that she dies screaming for a priest...

How many of you were even born when she was in power?

Ye care more about a kangaroo than an old woman dying!!!!

Sometimes I despair at the comments made here :(

Why would any of you wish such agony on an old person....

    The Kangaroo never hurt anyone.

I'm no fan of Margaret Thatcher, never was...

BUT I wouldn't wish such evil comments on anyone..

As far as I know, the kangaroo's history or previous career has not been investigated yet!

I absolutely detest the woman - most of all for her friendship with that monster Pinochet - but this celebration when she dies lark... bit 14-year-old isn't it? There's gonna be major canonisation of her when she dies anyway, so it won't be that great for those who plan to celebrate. And, what's so brilliant about her dying? The world will remain as it was - it won't change what she did.

Dudess, in fairness, she's a proven murderer, guilty of war crimes.

And I'm not talking about any Irish political stuff.

I personally hopes she dies a painful, agonising death. I really do. She heaped misery on many. Now it's her turn.

Being a Nationalist I never really liked the woman. I lived in GB during the '80s and they were rotten times.
Conflict, greed, opression. But their country/economy was a complete basket-case before she came to power. The unions were holding the country to ransom & there was talk of the IMF having to come in & sort 'em out! Ring any bells?

Looking around now at our bunch of moronic parish-pump gombeen politicans, i can only say,

"Boy! how we could do with a Maggie now!":(

Now now. You should be just thankful he isn't referring to his bowel motions again. Admittedly its hard to tell when he is and and when he isn't, given the level of thought that goes into the posts.....

The exchange is there for any who care to read it. I'm not really too worried about false crowing from somebody who is incapable of explaining themselves.

Yes. If only we had a system where a minority of the vote could give you an overwhelming majority in the dail, I'm sure then you'd have your little dream come true....

Just think...legislating against the gays, supporting dictators who rape women with mice..it'd be a golden age...
How many votes did the greens get? We have a minister for the environment that only about 2000 people voted for.

Lets say he got 2 and a half votes. Does that make first past the post any more representative?

I have mixed feeling about the woman. On the one hand I hate her for policies regarding the six counties and Ireland in general; but on the other I love her economic policies.

I don't think the ideal electoral system exists. That doesn't make Thatcher's term any less valid though.

It's valid in that it fufilled the criteria set for a UK election. However for a poster to crow about 3 election victories under that system in a manner that implies a popular mandate is taking the piss.

Funny enough, there is one good thing that could be said about Thatcher, but nobody seems to have brought it up.....
