Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    My old Nokia gave an option of displaying Last Name first under the Name Display option. I cannot find a similar option in the Galaxy S - all my phone contacts are first name first (unless I put surname in first name field...)

    Anyone know how to edit contacts so surname appears first?

    Contacts->menu(bottom left)->more->settings->Order of display name.

    That's great, thanks.

    Another question - how do I back-up my contacts on my PC? I attached
    the cable last night and could not see antthing resembling a contact list in the file structure under the phone.

    They're stored online linked to your gmail account. Open gmail in your browser and click contacts.. you can from there export them to you pc.
