Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Swapping Disc drives

    Hi,

    After doing about two weeks of research into this I'm non the wiser :(

    does anyone have any rel information on how to swap disc drives on an xbox 360. I have one with the red-ring that has a Samsung drive and the other which is perfect except the drive is broke. I simply want to swap them.

    I know I need to read the key from one and spoof the other. But how ?

    Has anyone done this ? Any help welcome !

    I recommend calling xbox support about this.If it's anything other then the 3 red light's then they can take you through step's on how to fix it.If it's the 3 red light's then just get it repaired,trying to D.I.Y it without really knowing how might end up braking the other disk drive :S

    You're in the wrong forum first of all, this would come under console modding for what you specificially asked.

    Secondly, spoofing your drive OSIG data and key is only possible with cracked firmwares that allow you to play backups so you'll get banned from Xbox live if you do this.

    Call Microsoft is my advice.
