Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What could potentially be the match of the evening see Spurs travel to the San Siro to take on holders Inter Milan. We travel to Milan hoping for three points when in reality every fan would be over the moon to take one.

I expect we could see a 4-4-1-1 from Spurs and Rafa Benitez traditonal 4-2-3-1 to face off with each Other Cambiasso and Millito are injured for Milan while Spurs are without Captain Ledley King and suspended VDV.

    Spurs should line out
    Gomes
    Hutton--Gallas--Bassong--BAE
    Lennon--Huddlestone--Jenas--Bale
    Modric

    Crouch

Can't wait for this, a true test of Spurs Euro credentials.

    Inter 2-0

Bale to score and Spurs to win 0-1 is 125/1 worth a euro :)

Well done to UTV for not picking the Man U tie - this is the stand-out tie involving an English club and am really looking forward to it.

Shame RTE couldn't follow suit. But I suppose this means there is at least a choice.

  • Registered Users Posts: 641 ✭✭✭Dimitri

Thankfully RTE almost always go for the UTD match:D This does look like its going to be the match of the night I really want to see spurs do well in Europe and retain their spot in the top four but its going to be tough tonight especially without King and VDV.

RTE should have shown this rather than the no-contest game at OT but hey thank God for choice. That said I expect Dunphy to totally lambast Utd tonight for the Rooney saga which should be a lot more entertaining than the actual Utd. match.

This should be a good match though and will be a true test to see if Spurs are of the standard to compete in this years CL. Eto'o is on fire for Inter especially with Milito out as he can now play the lone strikers role. Spurs backs arent the best and the Bale v Maicon battle should be good. VDV is suspended and Cambiasso is out but it should be a good one.

Inter at 4/6 looks value. Inter to win easy.

    Inter 1-0 Eto'o @ 22/1. Worth a few bob.

Be looking for a good performance tonight, if we get that the result should take care of itself. Spurs are a decent team but lack a bit of European experience, especially on the big stage, which tonights game at the Meazza will be. Rafa should have the tactical superiority over Redknapp in these type of games, our players too. I expect a 2 goal victory, wouldn't be surprised if it was closer though.

I'd be expecting Inter to win easily but the way Spurs' luck is this season, they could get a result.
    3-1 to Inter I think.

    Inter to win by 2

Tottenham struggle to cope at Craven Cottage, let alone the San Siro.

I think Spurs can get the win in this one.

And yet Spurs were the first team to beat Fulham this season, it will be a tough match and we could get a hiding if we get our tactics wrong but there is a good chance of a result here for us

Modric a bit slow there from Lennon's cutback, suppose like everyone else he was expecting it to go to Crouch.

Modric is a passenger defensively is, I assume, what Arry is thinking.
They're going to need to be resolute in defence to stop this becoming a rout.
