Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mecada and park are well of game pace, they are really taking the teeth of the utd. attack. Not sure about smaling either, although he hasnt had much to do.

He's had two fairly good ones out of about 4 corners.

    An honest question here lads.

Has Macheda done much at United apart from that goal against Aston Villa?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,825 ✭✭✭Mikeyt086

Just heard a bunch of children counting down the half time clock 5...4...3...2...1! YAYYY! Can we go home now? 45 MORE MINS!! BOOOOOO!

Worst atmosphere Ive heard in Old Trafford in a long time.

What the hell is Carrick doing out there? Awful passing. Not looking for the ball or anything. Movement is terrible.

Two shocking passes in a row therefore before half time

If he can't boss the midfield against them, god almight!

It's that boring of a game that they're talking about Fergie walking onto the pitch.

Great start but crappy football since then, thought after Nani's goal twas going to be a case not whether they win but by how much. Expected it to be 3-0 by now tbh with a couple more in the second half. However i shall keep the faith and i'll say 4-0 by full time.

    Carrick > Park tonight.

Would you not have a go at someone esle? Yaknow, just to mix it up? Im not angry, im not a Carrick fan boy, im not having a go at you, just curious.

I was thinking the same myself, in the first team I can't remember him scoring, bar the villa goal and the half goal against sunderland. He's never really impressed me. Oh wait, he scored a hand ball against Chelsea too. ha
Yeah, I haven't really been overly impressed by him. Although... the Villa goal, he should really be in the first team forever just for that :p

Park is poor too but Carrick is having a shocker. Can you not see it. his passing and his positioning?

He is a central midfielder so thats why I pick him out.

Yes, but he's not playing for Manchester United, is he?

    Pity.
I thought the early signs were that they would really get at them.

I hope the trio of Carrick, Anderson and Fletcher get a good 80 minutes together. Just so they can get on the right wave length for the more important games coming later in the season.

He only turned 19 in August. He's a tremendous prospect and has already shown himself adept at popping up with important goals and contributions. If anything his stunning debut goal when he was 17 was the worst thing he could have done as it sent expectation through the roof. He'll have a very very good career somewhere, hopefully he prove up to the task of being a United striker.

    come on lads

I must say I really like the commanding presence Smalling has. I think he wouldn't be afraid to tell Vidic where he thinks he should be...

I've seen more promising looking players not make it with us, however I'm sure the Man Utd staff and coaching team not to mention SAF know better than me! Que him scoring now that I say he hasn't impressed me.

I would love to see united bring on another forward but I reckon ferguson will keep things tight for next few games. .

The teams moral is obviously shattered and fergie knows better then anybody that theres nothing like a couple of wins on the trot to pick up the team . .
