When i said poor Sarah, it was because she was devastated and i believe the two, Michelle and Najette, had it in for her from the beginning. From what i can see, the two girls were part of the main group in the house, i.e. the Jamie, Caroline, etc group. Sarah and Panos have been kind of doing their own thing. Caroline last week said she despised Sarah, for reasons we don't really know, because being honest she has been in the shadows for us. I think Michelle and Najette deliberatly went out of their way to make this task difficult for Sarah, behaving like school girl bullies.

Don't get me wrong, Sarah failed on so many levels in this task, but had she the support from all her team, i believe the oversights could have been avoided. Being honest, I think Sarah has come out best out of this. She didn't accuse people of lying and bullying like the two did, a very low and unproffessional accusation. Michelle really disappointed me, i honestly liked her, and believed she stood her own ground, but after last night, i believe she stooped so low on so many different levels she may have lost respect from everyone.

It just sums up Irish women in a professional setting. Particularily when there is a group of them working together. Their personal interests/conflicts/bitching etc with ALWAYS come before a company.

Diversity is necessary or else you get the above.

Perhaps I have generalised but I think I am pretty spot on though. A group of bitchy women working together is not good for a company. Their personal interests will always come first

I don't think that is a generalisational at all.

I haven't said one thing positive about her :o
it is possible to not be a fan of either you know
    Are you Sarah :pac:

Saw one of the female contestants in Winters bar in Dundrum last thursday. She is still in the competition as regards where we are at on the TV. Anyone know are they nearly done with it?. Has it finished in the real world?.

    Yes, it finished in August.

The usual Tripe from Anton Savage. Doesn't ask any hard questions and there were plenty of times to do it last night.

Trying to stay pals with everyone and look after his own business interests is not good television and politics.

Used the "But december is missing" line about 10 times.

Kept going back to the picture of the car when the lady from Ford had clearly said the task was lost number one due to no logo's.

I dont know who the other guy was but he had zero interest in being there imo.

    As for Fiona Looney....................

I was so bored last night i started fantasying about Mairead Fleming :pac:

The winner doesn't start until january so it's possible she's doing bar work until she starts her 100K salary job :D

    Nice one!!.

Fair play to them for keeping it somewhat secret in terms of who has won (I take it some of you on here know).

Haven't read the entire posts on last night's show but Sarah had to go. Not to include the "Ford" and "Fiesta" logos on the calendar alone were sufficient grounds for firing - these are the basics that any client would require in any promotional materials and the fact that she works in PR and didn't insist on these being present is unforgivable, regardless of the quality or creativeness of the subsequent shots. She also seemed to be on a power trip from the second she was made PM; completely talking down to her team and and insisting on her way. The ironic thing is if she had simply insisted on the inclusion of the logos, she would have won the task and would have gotten away with her appalling people management. Losing to an 11 month calendar is shocking and unforgivable.

On another note......was it just me or did anyone else notice the ad for "Underbelly" during "The Apprentice" which showed (shock horror!) "bare bosoms". Doesn't bother me in the slightest (nor the language on "The Apprenctice" itself) but I assume the show attracts many younger viewers and maybe not the best choice of clip by TV3? I realise it was probably/definitely done on purpose to court controversy but it does confirm my tabloid view of TV3.
Yes Seen the bare boobs in the ad for underbelly , are they allowed show them in an ad ?

why is that aul hag from the recruitment company always on your fired? last night anton asked her opinion on somthing about marketing that was in no way in the recruitment or hr area. if shes there as a recruitment expert why not talk about what she knows rather then bleating out her opinion. between the tasks, commercialisations and idiot contestants this is real amateur compared to the uk version.

there was another ad for washing powder or cleaner and all the actors in the ad were walking around nude with strategically placed items and arms

Yes, supposedly the person is there to get a job with Bill, but at the end of the day this is a TV show. It's all about entertainment. I agree we've a right crowd of tools on it this year (maybe Niamh/Jamie excluded) but boy are they entertaining. I think the program has been great this year.

Good show so far. Sarah didn't deserve to go. Those girls spent practically 2 days taking pictues and kept bitching about her. Michelle and Najette are definitely going to go soon if they lose the next task, although it would be interesting to see them turn on each other to win.

Clever of Sarah to bring Dave back to support her against Najette. How many times has Najette with her fancy MA let the team down? Seriously, what are the advisors doing all the time.

Good show, good show. First season I have watched so far.

Ya true, it's all about entertainment and the more enjoyable it is the better!

Sums up Brightwater. Bill really needs to get a different recruitment agency next time. They are so unprofessional

I don't think any of the candidates are representative of successful business people of either gender. Apart from Jamie and Niamh (who is a woman!!!) the rest are a joke (will isn't too bad, just a bit young) . The majority are put in for reality tv entertainment.

Your sexist arrogance and the sexist arrogance of the posters who thanked you actually surprises me. Some of us have moved on from the 18th Century and I genuinely didn't think that there are many men in the modern world who still put ALL women into the same category. :)

I work with 50 women and 4 men and one of those men is the biggest sh**t stirrer and whinger of any one else on our staff.

I think the men in the show this year are very weak. With the exception of Barry, the rest have already fallen or are just sailing under the radar. I think we will see Will and Dave go soon for sure! I'm definitely backing a woman to win this year. Still think Michelle is one to watch!

Nah, i'd say at this stage its between Niamh, Barry and Jamie.

Livewire is right:D He has a heart of gold though. I wonder does he have ADD though? Seriously.

Haha, Im practically thanking any post that even mentions Barrys name! In all seriousness though, I really do think that hes a very genuine guy and I find him very entertaining to watch, not just in a comical sense (he is funny though!) but even when he was in the boardsroom i was really impresed by his attitute, he didnt try to antagonise people at all, just kept calm and behaved very dignified I thought. :)

In my area of business I have found that there is no one as petty as the Irish man.

Two barristers who have a dislike for one another can wreck any chance of an easy divorce between two civilised people.

    Aww I love Panos! :)

I think Najette is one of the most unlikeable people I've ever seen on Irish TV. Eurgh she comes across as such a cow.

I think Niamh would be a worthy winner actually, reckon it's her or Barry. Or maybe Jamie but meh.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,438 ✭✭✭livinginkorea

When the women start backstabbing and fighting each other then guys generally try to sit back and not get in the line of fire :P

Hope Bill mixes the teams around soon. Still would be delighted to see the three girls who lost, lose another task and go at each other (eventually I think this will happen).

She needs an attitude change before that to win!

Last night was worst "You're fired show" ever.........

Savage is a very neutral presenter, doesn't ask any difficult/insightful questions that O'Connor did.

And don't start about yer wan from Brightwater, comes across as very bigoted and a know-it-all.
