Why Is Ling Featured so much In GTA China Town Wars?

Ling is the only female character in Chinatown Wars, with the exception of the news reporter whose missions you play on during the PSP version of the game, and yet despite her being all over the packaging and promo shots she dies very early on into the game. This leaves an entirely male cast to dominate. Just wondering why…
