Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Problems with saving on xbox 360.

    Hi folks, I seem to be having a problem with saving on my xbox 360. This problem only occurred today and with one particualr game.

    I'm playing an old game, far cry 1. I begin a level and as I advance I get the usual messages on the screen: 'saving in progress - please do not turn off your xbox'. However, if I get killed, I go back to the beginning of the level and not to the last saving point.

    Anyone any suggestions?

    Some data with the game could be corrupted so I'd advise clearing your system cache. It could be the game itself. Is the disk scratched in any way? :S

    Does your console have a hard drive or internal memory only? Some older games might not work with just internal/USB memory.

    Go on Live and see if there's a compatibility update.

    Hi folks, I've cleared out the system cache and it still didn't work. I've no problems with the game working, it's just the save points are invalid.

    update:

    Ok, got this sorted. The system date was wrong so I fix that and it works fine.
