Do you need qualifcations?

I'm thinking of moving abroad, maybe Canada or the US, I'm just wondering can you get there with little or no qualifacations? I mean get a visa or whatever? Or is the only possibility to work there illegially?

It's probably worth your while to check the links in this sticky if you're considering emigrating to the US/Canada.

Also, please bear in mind that discussing any illegal activity relating to either obtaining a visa or getting by without one is against the charter.
