Gardai raid more weed factories then ever now.

Is it just me or was there nobody in Ireland growing weed to sell during the boom years or are the Gardaí only taking it seriously now? Now it seems every week there's a bunch of them raided and massive amounts found, looks like the only growth industry in the country .

You have to remember that hippies grow this ****. And they're plants. And they take time. And just like Off-season fruit and veg, may not be available year round, or at certain times of the month.

its probably more likely that they got some tipoffs from some loser scumbag that didn't wanna go to jail than they weren't takin it seriously. Anywho most of the smoke in the country is imported so it doesn't make a whole lot of difference!

Seems it's mainly professional skunk farms in large rented properties in rural areas. Run by people who are as diametrically opposite to hippies as it is possible to be!

Very few if any hippies grow for sale. It would be for percy.

they've found a way to check the way you're taking electicity, and can see if you're using it for certain lights

or

unemployed people are getting into the game, and are doing it in their own back yard, selling it to everyone, and getting caught quickly

I just heard on the Six One news that Gardai seized a cannabis and opium plant in the grounds of Blarney Castle today. The plants were on display in the 'Poison Plants' section of the garden and within cages. wtf

I doubt most growers would have a garden full of plants, so the flowery smell minus any actual flowers outside the house would probably tip folks off.
