Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi We are building externsion pout from our external wall and need and rsj to support external wall , but we want the steel beam really close to the side wall , how close can i go, or do i need an steel upstand to support the beam? Anyone any experience or offer advice? Thanks

We are building externsion pout from our external wall and need and rsj to support external wall , but we want the steel beam really close to the side wall , how close can i go, or do i need an steel upstand to support the beam?

Best advise is to get a Qualified Engineer to make a site visit and get them to specify what is best;)

Sorry but our forum charter prohibits the specifying or discussion on structural elements which is why you have been advised to get a structural engineer on board.
