Its my brothers old rig, from 2007/8 got it for free & I just went a bit mad with a paint marker lmao, might take it apart and give it a nice paintjob, its nothing special, bit dated acutally, core 2 duo, 4 gig ram, radeon hd 4800 card.
It was for free cos' he upgraded, and it runs COD4 & Black Ops, so I'm not going to complain haha.

Love the PhillyD poster. How much was that?

Actually got it when he came to Ireland, himself, Matt Homeyer and Kevin Brueck signed it. You can pick up a copy at FORHUMANPEOPLES.

    He also bought Waterworld once.

It's obvious now that Dave's got a (previously hidden) Troy McClure like sexual preference for fish and other aquatic fauna.

Hi, I'm Davenocheese, you may remember me from many childhood memories such as "no... Not again uncle jim" and the classic "hey you, get off my mother".

    EDIT: Ex-nay on the fish-sex-...ay :/

My kids 12, has a 50" plasma, gets 30-50+ kills per game in MW3(silnc I kill u, was depressed donkey). I am 42, struggle to get 11 kills, am chuffed with 15 kills. I need to get one of these gamer set-ups! When it comes to MW3, I am a gamers delight, as likly to press "knife thrust" as pull the trigger. I think a masage chair and a bigger screen might be called for..:D

Funnily enough for shooter games, smaller screens seem to be better.

I think most competitive gamers play on small screens going along with the belief that smaller screens mean less eye movement thus saving you milliseconds in gunfights.

I play on a 24" screen myself. Have a 50" beside it and plug the Xbox into the bigger ones from time to time but find it much more difficult

Just got a new 23" monitor, might try this out tonight see if I find it any better. I'm so used to the 32" though it might be hard to get used to.

    Smaller screens are much better

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,732 ✭✭✭Magill

Depends how you play, if you like sitting a couple of feet from the screen, small is better. If you like sitting further back then bigger is better... just relative to how close you sit really. I wouldn't like to play on a monitor if i was sitting on my sofa 2/3+ meters away !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,861 ✭✭✭FlyingIrishMan

I also find I prefer playing on a small monitor up close rather than a big tv a few metres away.

    Exactly

I find this to be easier too, guess it's what you get used to.

I pan out on the bed so my screen is way away......I love panning out
