I'm sure I saw this about five years ago but have never seen it since. And someone here in work thinks I'm making it up.

In Galway, if you asked for a pint of Carlsberg, they took a Carlsberg pint glass from a fridge so your pint was very cold.

I've never seen it since, I can't remember any other place every having a fridge for pint glasses.

I'm certain it was a fridge, I didn't mistake it for a glass washer.

Have I imagined this or does anyone else remember this? :)

Some pubs will some won't. I despise getting a warm glass, can't understand how a so called barman could hand somebody a hot glass, I have gotten hot ones not just warm.

In a hotel near me the barman used to give only regulars cold glasses from a fridge. There are dedicated fridges for the extra cold bud/heineken.
