im watching Hamburg v bayern on it at the moment on a 1.2m motorised dish

I love dubai sports for the German soccer

In Ireland here you'll get roughly 50-57% signal strength afaik

Hmm, I must try picking up that bird some day. Have a 1.1m Triax dish.

I'd imagine I'll need to manually adjust the dish to optomise signal though.

    Someday... :)

I can receive Badr 4 with a 100cm dish in Donegal. The quality bar is low but it is still watchable.

Do they have English/German commentary or is it just Arabic?
I always forget to take a look during a live game. I know on the replays a few days after the game they sometimes have English.

Ah well, still a great channel. They show the same games as Eurosport 2 but Dubai Sport is free.
I was barking on about how great Eurosport's coverage was for the last year :pac:.

I was dissing eurosport's coverage btw, they do a fantastic job.
What I meant was that I was harping on about Eurosport all summer while Dubai were planning to show just as much and not many people knew. :)

Polsat afaik. Satskelp have Polsat I think.

The channel is also on 7E so I'm guessing it's included in the digiturk pack.

It is Digiguides major flaw. Support for European channels is non existant

Yeah I get it with Polsat. I bought a CAM with 4 month trial for Polsat channels and Eurosport 1 and 2 in HD. Satsklep doesn't seem to have that anymore which is a shame. It was a bargain for €50. The Polsat sport channels do sometimes have good sport on but they are all in Polish.

Satsklep do however have this. It is a pricey alternative and not worth it if you can receive the Arab channels.

I have realised that I have gone way off topic so I will stop now :)

Dubai sports HD is showing the Maniz match in English where as Dubai sports 1 is in Arabic

    that's strange?

I get 26e on a 1m dish in mullingar, 78% quality on all mbc's etc.

sounds like that's right up my alley, now that Pauli are back in the Bundesliga.
I am planning to go motorised soon.
Why the variability on signal strenght? LNB? If so, what spec of LNB would need to get a good signal.

Dish size is the important factor.
