Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Spurs and Everton have played out some close encounters in recent years and over 2.5 goals seems to be the norm :p

    I remember some spic 4:3 to spurs (keane hat trick) and 4:4 (undsworth epic) meetings.

    any discussions here guys ..............

    Everton seem to be getting their stuff together,think they might nick it.

    It will be an interesting match. Spurs will undoubtedly be tired from Wednesday night and Everton usually do well in WHL, so I'm thinking it will be a score draw.

    everton were classed as being "bang on form" by Sky Sports.

    L D L D L D W W

    I mustnt be up with this new football lingo, i thought playing **** was an actual way of describing form.

    Coleman v Bale round 2, some might remember the outcome last season :pac:.

    I'm torn, support Seamus and Everton or Rafi and Spurs? :(

    Injuries once again mounting up for Everton so would take a draw. Johnny Heitinga might have to start kicking Bale and VDV early on tho :D Hopefully Arteta and Pienaar are fit so they can start feeding a hungry looking Yak :D

    8 game form guides now ? Put some spin on it ffs. Unbeaten in 3 and 2 wins in a row looks like good recent form. :)

    zero goals let in for 270mins is not to be scoffed at either...:)

    Everton have so many injuries I can't see anything but a Spurs win.

    Don't think Spurs will play well after the away trip in Europe. Takes a bit of getting used to.

    Coleman will most likely be right wing, and Bale probably full back. So if anything it'll be Bale worrying about Coleman instead of the other way around. I'd be amazed too if Spurs manage to keep a clean sheet. Their defense isn't exactly at full strength. Yakubu on song could enjoy himself.

    Should be a decent game though. I still think VDV can be the difference between Spurs and teams like Everton (who'd I'd rate fairly closely to Spurs).

    I doubt he'll be full back he might not even be starting

    This one's a banker draw for me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

    Looks like Huddlestone is injured which is a big blow he sets the tempo really well and controls the game we are going to need a big game from Modric

    Hutton, Gallas, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto;
    Lennon, Palacios, Modric (c), Bale;
    van der Vaart;
    Crouch.
    SUBS: Cudicini, Bassong, Jenas, Kranjcar, Sandro, Keane, Pavlyuchenko.

    Definitely can't see Spurs winning. 12:45 game after a trip to Milan mid week. Odds for Everton are huge considering this!

    Arteta to score and Everton to win 3-1.

    Arteta's not playing so don't make that bet

    Neville and Coleman are getting destroyed. Some great play from Mod and Fart.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,778 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

    About time that stupid fcuking ref gave a free for pushing...

    Crouch is so frustrating for me, obviously his height poses a problem, but the past 2 games I've watched him in he just doesn't fit in for me. He is more of an interruption.

    He'll go and score now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

    Oh I thought that was in :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Dead quiet at WHL.

    In fairness he's not having a bad game today.. If it keeps going this way he'll get at least 2 peno's....

    Oohh Modric!

    I'm sorry how is that a free out?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Lennon doesn't seem at all confident in goalscoring opportunities.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,328 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

    Modric having a really good game so far,

    Awkward again from Crouch, missed out on a peno there!
