Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Neville and Coleman are getting destroyed. Some great play from Mod and Fart.

My cousins kid calls him that too, he's 7 and thinks it's hilarious :pac:.

Actual free kick this time meaning he won't score. ;)

Why is there a phone number over the Sky Sports logo? It's been on there for weeks.

Great game. I think Everton are about to start finding a serious run of form.

That's probably your sky card number, it's a new thing Sky are doing to counter piracy etc.

Good first half performance we really needed to be going in ahead as Moyes will have them chomping at the bit for the second half

I presume for the likes of streaming etc?

Which I presume it would be easy to hide it in any case.

Was once in a pub which will remain nameless that had a sticker of a pint glass on the tv :pac:

Think we need to bring Hudd on for Palacios. Dont like it when our def mid is on a yellow, esp in a close game.

Hudd isn't on the bench today more likely Jenas but ya he has to be subbed before going off

    Wilson off for Sandro...

Should've been 2-1. Coleman looking a bit dodgy at the moment. Can't handle players running at him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Everton not looking too good as a unit right now. Spurs really turning the screw.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,778 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

We need another striker. Pav on, VdV drop into midf and take your pick of Lennon or Bale to come off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

    Lennon off Pav on

    He'll never learn..

He kicked an advertising board like that once before and when the adrenaline wore off he ended up being rested for a cup game with a bruised toe.

    Agreed. Absolutely outstanding.

Draw is just about fair, both teams had their periods throughout the game.

Howard throws away another two points though, great 'keeper but I don't think he's ever going to cut these quite regular mistakes out of his game.

But I'd have taken it this morning, no question.

Definitely would of taken a point out of this game before it starts.

Jags, what a player, outstanding today.

If it's anything like last weeks performance you'll stuff us.

But this neither the time nor the thread for this discussion.

    Everton match ratings from myself:

Howard - 5 - Horrible blunder that cost us 2 points. Otherwise solid.
Baines - 7 - Excellent from the set piece but also got stuck in, didn't hide and was part of a formidable back four. Also helped out in some of our best forward play.
Jagielka - 8 - My MOTM. Absolutely imperious and showed his class from start to finish today.
Distin - 6 - Doesn't inspire great confidence but was more or less solid apart from a few shaky moments. Needs to realize that he's not a footballer and just clearer his lines more.
Neville - 5 - Tackled well but distribution was atrocious. A few silly fouls as well. I think he missed Arteta today.
Coleman - 5 - Was a bit out of his depth today. Good experience for him though.
Pienaar - 6 - First game back from injury, wasn't too bad but went hiding at times.
Heitinga - 6 - CM is not his best position but he done okay by enlarge. Needs to be moved back to CB as soon as possible.
Bilyaletdinov - 5- Good on the ball but didn't work particularly hard.
Cahill - 6 - Fed off scraps up front but won his fair share of headers in our own penalty area. Shame the delivery up the other end wasn't of any use to him today.
Yakubu - 7 - Held the ball up superbly at times, ran out of steam the second half.

Overall I'm happy enough with a draw. I think Arteta was a massive miss for us though. He should be back for the Stoke game next week thankfully. Howard's got to have a long hard think about what happened today. That's the second time this season he's fluffed something under no pressure at all. Our defence looks good with the exception of Distin. Why Moyes persists with him is a mystery to me.

^ Very generous with Bilys rating. Thought he was shocking and he could actually have worn his jersey on the bus journey home cus there was definately no sweat on it. Time to move on in Jan me thinks.
