Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Advice on cycle computers (Polar)

    Hi Guys,

I'm looking into getting a cycle computer. With my last bike (Stolen) I had a basic Sigma 5 function device. It did me fine at the time but now that i'm more interested in cycling I want to get a fairly decent computer.

I must have something that I can connect to the computer so I can log my trips and monitor my fitness.

I've been looking at Polar computers and they appear to be the leaders. This Polar CS200cad is the baby of the range but seems to have everything i'd want. This pack excludes the PC hardware for uploading the data. There are a few different methods for this, not sure which one would suit this, or would they all?

I'd love to hear peoples input on these Polar computers?

Also, any suggestions on cheaper alternatives would be greatly appreciated as this setup will cost me around €180..

    Thanks in advance..
