Recommendations For A Mobile Phone With Email

    Hi all,

    My mother is planning on purchasing a new mobile phone. She wants to be able to send email on it but isn't really bothered about whether there's a good camera on the phone.

    She primarly wants email and secondary wants the phone to be decent for being able to listen to saved music on.

    Her price range is a maximum of €150 and wants to be on pay-as-you-go.

    I'm just wondering if you could recommend some phones with the above criteria.

    What email service does she use?, will she be sending and receiving a lot? What network is she on at the minute, and does she topup €20 a month?

    Thanks for your response.

    She uses hotmail and would send an average of around 10 emails a week.

    She's on 02 at the minute and yes, she does top-up by €20 a month.

    For that amount of emails, and just using hotmail, any phone nowadays will do the job. See what else she wants.

    Regards network, with o2 she will be paying 99cent a day that she uses the data connection. Other networks like meteor have in included in a plan if you topup by €20, might be worth thing about.
