Just go on to Carzone.ie and do a search for everything under €500.

Some of them make very loud explosive nosies.

Go up north, buy them and set them off there, that's the legal answer :P

There's also these two... they're a riot and can be found in your local Chartbusters / Xtra-Vision:

If I hear another one of these at 3am again, I'm going to take out the pitchfork and stab someone in the face with it.

If you ignite a firework or cause it to be ignited in any place, you are guilty of an offence. The offence of igniting a firework can take place anywhere and not just in a public place. It can include the garden of a private house.
If you throw, direct or propel an ignited firework at or towards someone else or at property, you are guilty of an offence.
If you have a firework with the intention of selling or supplying it to someone else (and you don't hold a licence to import it) you are guilty of an offence.

I guess that depends on whose joy you reckon they're trying to kill.

Personally speaking, if you throw, direct or propel an ignited firework towards someone else or property, or even set one off in your own property without being expert enough to predict whose property it might land on (doing damage itself or even igniting that property) then the above rules are fair enough.

And that's not even referencing the noise pollution......your original post mentions "window rattling".........unless it's your own window and no-one else's, what gives you the right ?

Ask a 12 year old. Most older people grow out've the whole banger obsession...

A feed of baked beans and onions, washed down with several pints of Guinness, and you won't have long to wait for the bangers...

    Potential legal minefield tbh OP.
    See what I did there?
