Recommendation for a Good Rabbit Vet in Drogheda

My gorgeous 2 year old french lop has developed a head tilt in the last couple of hours and needs to be taken to a vet in the morning.

We live in Drogheda don't really have any experience of vets in the area, apart from Westgate laughing at us when we asked for an appointment our other Rabbit to be neutered. We're not going there, clearly they're just interested in dogs and cats and just arn't good rabbit vets, if they think a neutering a rabbit is hilarious.

The vet we normally use is quite a distance away and it won't be possible for me to get my bunny there for a few days. And she really can't afford to wait.

I need a recommendation for a competant rabbit vet in Drogheda. Can anyone help please?

I'd recommend Allpets on the Donore Rd (just across from the bus depot). 041-9810000

I have to agree wtih the above posters, Allpets is fantastic! I had a pair of pet ferrets that were very sick and the staff there were incredible... took it very seriously and went to great lengths to try and figure out what was wrong. They were fairly knowledgable about ferrets to begin with and were also eager to listen to all of my worries and concerns and quick to admit if there was something they hadn't heard of. The particular vet who was dealing with me (AnnMarie) contacted a consultant in the USA who specialised in ferrets as well as working in conjunction with Barbara O'Malley in Bray who also specialises in exotics.

Very professional and as far as I was concerned had exactly the same level of care and concern for the ferrets as for any other pet I saw going in there. And their support when things were difficult or upsetting was second to none. I can't give them enough praise.
