Hi folks, i believe this in the correct thread, please repost if not.
I have a laptop home from work where it connects to a domain ok. OS is XP pro,
local admin rights, but not domain admins.
At home it connects to my wireless router, i can connect to any other pcs (at home) printing, etc.
When i try to access internet, after a few minutes internet stops. (cannot display webpage) however all other connections are fine. i can ping any ip, google.com, dns is ok.
netstat/ipconfig shows no changes. but when it drops TCPview shows SYN_SENT
    - to add insult, flash popped up asking to update! but audio stream drops also.
Reboot gets me a further few mins.
iexplore/firefox/opera all tried, all same probs
    winsockfix no good.
A number of work machines are doing the same or similar for others, and google indicates a common problem, but no solution found.
    any ideas anyone?
