finglas area bus service changes

just to inform everybody dublin bus will have a roadshow in tesco clearwater this thursday from 12 to 6 to discuss area route changes the following has been proposed by dublin bus 1 removal of route 220 2 amalgamation of route 40 40a to new route 40 serving all the way to liffey valley 3 new route 40 will no longer serve…

well despite promises made at the network review meetings the people of finglas are about to have network not working put on them
route 40 40a will change to new route 40 with a lesser service than present currenty 7 mins peak new 10 mins peak route 220 will be cancelled and 17a will not provide a replacement for it.route 40d will operate via mellowes despite promises that scribblestown was getting a service.toberburr will still be serviced by the 40 but no mention of frequency or how as route 40 will terminate at finglas place meaning that either the toberburr 40 doesent serve the village (a disaster) or else has t go back on its route from the village (confusing)
also route 104 is been removed from fingla sthis wasnt mentioned before and so there will be no more links from finglas to ballymun via pioppintree as both 104 and 220 will be gone with no replacement service by any other route i wonder will a private take over please as dublin bus does not want to serve the area
