    Hi,

Is there any TV available with a silver surround, dont particularly want black and there seems to be nothing else. I want 37-40", nothing fancy, just something that will do the job. Have a perfectly good telly but old type so missing loads of picture at the sides. I like the ambilight feature on the Philips. (not into the technical stuff, just want it pretty!)

    Hi Phormium.

The one that I can think of that may just suit the bill would be the Philips 37PFL7605.

This is a 37" LED that has a grey surround instead of the usual piano black finish.

It also has the ambilight feature which you mentioned in the post.

Combined with that, it really is an excellent TV with some very nice features :

    4 x High definition inputs
    Pc Input
100Hz with 2 milli second response time which makes motion handling very smooth.
    Ambilight
Net TV - Connect this to your home network and browse the web from your armchair using the remote control.
Very low power consumption - Just 73 watts when on.
USB Input which allows music, pictures and movies to be played back through the USB.
20 watt sound - The sound from the Philips range is superb.

This TV is currently £799.95 and is in stock. Delivery would be £30 anywhere in Ireland.

Let me know what you think of this parcticular model, as it's one of the very few that looks stunning, even though it's not black.
