Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Was he expected to die? How long should they live? And other basic questions you would expect the newspaper article to spend two sentences clarifying.

    I think I remember Glendenning saying he'd be dead by Xmas, given his age and expected lifespan.

    1-2 years . Paul was a common octopus, a giant octopus can live for a bit longer but usually an octopus would die within the 1-2 year period. They'll always die after spawning, sometimes even before. Paul was an old enough octopus.
