Hey folks, I got this emailed to me over the weekend. Im only checking emails now because I was away on holidays. It seems Wicklow Gaol are doing a competition where you submit ghost photos for a chance to win win ten places on their tour. Details below.
Amazing Evidence of ‘the other world’ caught on camera
Wicklow’s Haunted Gaol Extends Closing Date for Spooky Photo Competition

Ghosts and ghouls are alive and well in Ireland – and they have been caught on camera!

The team at Wicklow’s Haunted Gaol has been overwhelmed by the tremendous response to their haunted photo search launched earlier this month.

Staff at the gaol have been amazed at the revealing shots from people across Ireland, which show chilling evidence of paranormal activity.

Pictures include a very clear image of a little boy hovering at the front of a black Volkswagen Beetle car, a chilling ghoulish face formed from random smoke particles and the headless silhouette of a man taken on the main floor of Wicklow’s Historic Gaol.

Wicklow Gaol has extended the closing date for the competition to October 31st. “We have had some requests from people who have been tracking down their pictures for a little more time. We also thought it very fitting that Halloween should be the closing date!” said a gaol spokesperson.

Members of the public can email or post their ‘Most Haunted’ photos taken in any Irish location to Wicklow’s Historic Gaol.

Gaol Matron Mary Morris says Wicklow’s Historic Gaol regularly receives chilling photographs from visitors to the ancient building.

“Gigantic orbs, mysterious faces and an eerie mist are regular features in pictures taken by members of the unsuspecting public.”

Last month a piece of amazing evidence was caught on video at the gaol – a torch moving of its own accord was picked up on an infrared camera.

Over the last 10 years, tourists and gaol staff have been baffled by the regular appearance of a young boy in the historic prison’s school room, a lady in her late 20’s dressed completely in black who walks in and out of cell 22 on the first floor and a cold eerie mist that envelopes the walkway to the first floor cells.

Wicklow’s Historic Gaol will officially reveal the country’s spookiest photographs next week. The person to win the most haunted photo competition will receive a super paranormal prize of an overnight investigation with ten friends at Wicklow’s Historic Gaol. In addition the picture will have pride of place on the Wicklow Gaol website.

Entrants can post their photographs to “Spooky Photo Competition, Wicklow Enterprise Centre, The Murrough, Wicklow Town, Co. Wicklow or email picture to tara@wicklowshistoricgaol.com.

*I dont work for Wicklow Gaol or have anything to do with them btw.
