Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

When looking in your mirrors, physically move your head as the test guy (yeah that's his name :D) won't be able to see your eyes move.

Its mainly all about : Road position and Observation.
When stopped, use left foot down only and keep right foot covering the back brake.
1mm min tyre depth and check for nails and damage to tyres.
approx 30 mm slack in chain.(see bike manual)
    Know how to check oil.

Dont go too slow, in 50 zone do 50 and same for 60 zone do 60.
Where are you doing your test ?

    Best of luck

I did my test long ago, now i instruct for Bikes and Cars.
Sorry I dont know the test routes in Sligo, but if you relax and ride safe you should be ok.
Another thing to remember is to Ride in the centre of your lane on the straight, and keep left when turning left and right when going right.
Mirrors do not cover all of your rear view, so you should turn your head to see the missing view.
There is a logical reason for any of the movements, so do not get bogged down in trying to remember them, just practice and you will do it without thinking.

Sligos a small town. Theres not too many possible routes anyways!

Cheers for the advice, as I said I'm confident I'll pass it but its helpful to reinforce what I do know. I'll let ye know how it goes anyways.

Dont forget to do a bit of reading up on road signs. I got the fright of my life when I arrived for my test. The tester sat me down and pointed at 3 of the most vague road signs you ever saw and asked if I could explain what they were. My test almost ended before it began - be warned !

    Good stuff.

Now get the application form in, restriction period doesn't start counting down until the forms are handed in.

Its those speed limit signs.. the smaller ones. They remind you what speed limit u are already in. Normally found stuck to Lamp posts on ring roads..

Congrats for passing your test. Now practice to survive on the roads.
