To be fair, Kiko got a couple of great goals that helped us win the league, no one here would suggest that he's ever produced the goods properly for United. Chicarito is a much more intelligent player and better goal scorer.

Positives: Bébé has promise. Smalling looks solid. Chico time yet again! Some nice runs from Obertan.

Negatives: Amos doesn't look strong enough to be a top keeper. Evans still not looking good enough in defense. Macheda didn't do much.

Frustrations: Gibson plays a great ball for the goal but gives away possiesion for a goal. Seems to have his moments but isn't consitently good. Obertan does plenty of running but not much end product, possibly a rough diamond though?

I liked Kiko for, like, a month. Honestly though, he's painfully frustrating to watch, and he's a greedy so-and-so, everysingle time he touches the ball he always thinks of having a shot; And when he does - that's that opportunity wasted, and if he decides to pass it he inevitably gets the ball nicked off him. That kid's rarely opts for the quick pass for a man on the run.

He's just a pain in the arse.

Chicho did great when he came on.

Thought Obertan looked classy and would have fit into any United side.

Bebe looked eager, great determination and pace. Good work and luck for the goal, but the pass to Macheda was sublime for that chance that he hit over the bar, so I was happy with him.

Park played poorly overall, but as always his outstanding workrate and movement make up for it.

Macheda was poor, and he knew it too. Let's hope he puts his head down and works hard at it. The stories and rumours about him enjoying the high life aren't boding well for his long-term career, but he's 19 and has time to turn it around.

Carrick and Gibson both did ok, Gibson did well for the goal and was a driving force forward which is nice, but he needs to improve his concentration overall.
The defenders could all have done better, but I thought Fabio did ok in parts.

Overall, 3-2 with a mostly youth team makes me happy. Roll on the 1/4s and let the same 11 take on the next team.

He should be doing much better than he's managing. Greedy git alright, but has potential still.

I thought Bebe did very well overall - played with great positivity and wasnt afraid to have a run at defenders. I was also very please with Obi-wan, fair enough he wasted a few ops but i think he has great promise. Smalling and Fabio were shining lights in an otherwise poor defense. Im so disappointed for Evans, he seems to be slipping more and more, I really thought he would spring on!
