Ram upgrade question!

I have a single 2GB stick of: 2G DDR800 - Samsung FG2/12 I'd like to pop another 2GB stick in. Am I OK to go ahead and pick up any DDR800 memory, or do I need to aware of any other important factors before purchasing, regarding compatibility ... (outside of things like bios upgrades and o/s utilisation etc) Thanks!

Hi, RAM is tricky you'll need more info. Get CPUID here ftp://ftp.cpuid.com/cpu-z/cpu-z_1.56-setup-en.exe And install and open it, you can open it twice once for the CPU information and once for the SPD Ram information take a screen shot of both and post the screen shots here, once that's done it will help us all take all the guess work out of recommending your RAM requirements
