    When she turns 18 she's to get an affidavit done by her solicitor. The solicitors clerk then has to go to the courts accounts office and present the affidavit and a letter written up by her solicitor.

    The money is then paid to her solicitors account. The solictor then subtracts all his charges and an extra charge for the inconvenience of using his bank account and sends Shauna off her cheque for €4,127.68

    Reports like that pishes me off all the time.
    You'll often hear of 'The son of a Garda' or Prison Officer or even Politician, never mentioned if the Father/Mother happen to be a carpenter, electrician or street sweeper.
    If somebody is involved in committing a crime it doesn't (shouldn't!!) matter whose son or daughter it is or where they're from.
