Should do as they have no shipping size or cost restraints to Ireland unlike Game or Play.

Hmv don't have restrictions either and if you have an hmv student card you get 10# off on the website too. And the discount doesn't expire, I'm still using my card number that expired in 08.

Edit: Just got an email from Zavvi, seems like they wont ship the mustang outside the UK

Has any shop in Ireland given anyone a release date for the mustang?

Game.co.uk says this Friday but I doubt it will come out in Game over here.

He said it doesn't have a release date so it could arrive in at any time.

Sounds like you're mad for one cactus, I am too but after getting the keyboard I'll not be getting the guitar until well down the line

Play.com have it for 12th Nov but I tried to order it to see if they would ship here and they will only deliver to a UK address.

You could always try to ask HMV in store to order you one in as they are listed on their www saving you the shipping cost

Ye its definitely what I was looking forward to getting most with the game. Don't get me wrong, I'm having a blast with the keyboard but I had saved up enough cash for the keyboard and guitar so was disappointed when I saw it had been delayed.

That's a good idea about hmv. Ill give them a go.

Yeah it was a bigish card with a code on it, I got mine last week when I got the game in HMV. I didn't have to ask for it, the girl was well clued in on the stuff.

If I wait till Christmas I get it for free... just asked the parents there and they said they're giving me purely money as a present this year (it's also my 21st a week later so more money WOOOOOO!) so RB3 + keyboard will be my first purchase

Apologies if this is already being discussed. I did a search and couldnt find a thread on it.

Just wondering if anyone has been shopping around for the Mustang pro guitar for Rockband 3. I've been thinking if getting this for christmas but cant seem to find many retailers that are showing a price for it. This is probably because its not being released till November 26th. Anyone planning on getting one of these? what kind of price are you expecting to pay?

Have not been able to get solid confirmation from any bricks and motor here. But would Imagine they would be no cheaper.

My plan was to wait for them not to sell and get slashed post xmas but thats unlikely to happen now as the shops will not be over stocked with them the same way they were for the RB1 and Dj Hero bundles

Given the poor sales of rockband 3 I really can't see that situation happening, GH:Warriors of rock has already hit bargain bin status in smyths :eek:

Hmmm... so I was investigating the pro drums there. They're available on play.com and amazon.co.uk for around 140 euro. Problem is, neither will ship them to Ireland

I've been looking at all the game stores websites - Game, HMV, Smyths etc. etc. and none of them even have the pro drums on their sites.

So, where CAN we buy the pro drums?!

You sure about play? Got my gretsch beatles guitar from there last xmas. As for amazon I thought those shipped to Ireland ages ago, and at 140 you'd be better off going the extra mile with an ION set

I put in my address on both play and amazon, just to see how much delivery would cost, and both said they couldn't ship to Ireland ;_; (Play: This item can only be delivered to a UK address and Amazon: Rock Band 3 Wireless Pro Drums and Cymbal Pack (Xbox 360) cannot be shipped to the selected address.)

Just checked out your link, went to checkout and BAM: We can only ship in the UK.

You got it wrong about Amazon. Amazon will ship the drums here, but unfortunately are out of stock. It clearly states that the £120 listing is for the marketplace seller Gameseek who are listing on Amazon and have seperate shipping rules. Amazon themselves are selling it for £99 with free shipping and can be ordered for when there back in stock here.

Shopto.net will ship the drums here as long as you have your mobile number listed with them, but charge about £20 for shipping as they are couriered.

The pro guitar was due to go on sale on amazon tomorrow. I've been checking amazon all week just to check will the date be changed and low and behold today the date changes to 6/12/2010 :rolleyes:

Its a joke at this stage. They should have never teamed up with madcatz to do the instruments.

The most annoying thing is that it gets to within 1 or 2 days of the guitar being released then its delayed. Madcatz have done that 3 times now.

EDIT: That date is for a reseller. It seems that amazon themselves are only honoring their preorders and seem to have discontinued stocking it.

HMV have them for £120 + £2.50 shipping. They will ship it here as well and if you have one of their student cards you will get 10% off it, even online.

Cheers for the heads up about HMV but it says 5-8 days to dispatch which usually means its out of stock.
