Please be sure to be there at 10:00. Due to the shortness of light, I want this to get going from as close to 11:00 as possible, the likelihood of me entertaining people arriving after 10:30, is low, very low. Having said that make sure you leave in plenty of time. The snow and ice is meant to start thawing tomorrow from what I've heard, so we may be ok weather wise.


10:00 -10:30: Sign in, gear-up and team leader briefings.
10:30-10:40: General briefing
10:40-11:00: Chrono.

Thanks everyone who turned up today, the only problem was that there wasn't enough numbers to keep the game rolling and there was only so many extra objectives I could think off, but I hope you's enjoyed yourselves! Lar (Thermo) thought up the game you played in the evening.

I'll do the after-game report thingy-majig later, but now it's time for heart attack pizza!

Well done Lefty. Good concept and interesting play.

Your willingness to adapt to the numbers is admirable and kept the game flowing.
Players I spoke to said they enjoyed it(some of them were first timers at HRTA).

A very enjoyable day and I look forward to Part 2. The tactical sweeties worked as bribes and easy interrogations and also a bit of fun.

Overlook were the first to secure an objective, locating 3 rosters in a destroyed bus, done with in 10 minutes of game on, and then swiftly moving to the next. Midway got some very good firefights going as they moved to secure B-7 and set up an OP. Within two hours all objectives from both sides had been completed and the extra objectives were getting nipped in the bud as they were given out.

There were a couple that weren't completed by Midway and that meant they couldn't avail of the advantages they brought. In the last two hours Overlook had been wiped out and the town of Overlook taken over by Midway, in which many items were stolen, giving Overlook some more work to do. Having to dispatch of a traitor in the ranks was also a small inconvienience for them.

As Overlook made their last push into Midway, they secured all objectives given to them, they raised the SCUD in minutes and secured the Midway medical supplies not too long after, taking a few prisoners as they went.

Midway tried their best to stop Overlook from taking over, but it wasn't enough, maybe part two will bring an interesting development...
