Spelling of the word "lose"/"loose"...

Lose - means you don't win something
Loose - is the opposite of tight

Loads of people on boards, Facebook, Twitter etc, the Internet in general, don't understand the difference.

Even the Guardian gets it wrong - Detained mental health patients may loose out

Come on people. Learn to tell the difference between the two words. Until then, your opinion isn't worth a hat of brown to me.

Another thing that annoys me is when people say 'where' instead of 'were'. How is it possible for anyone over the age of five to get those words confused?
