Paul Crowley, Dean Kelly and Adam Hanlon confirmed for us.

Any Bray fans able to give us an insight into Hanlon?

Hes a fast player who can be quite tricky. Played out on the wing all season till near the end. Only thing is he is small and lightweight, will sly away from a few challenges.

Unless the replacement is right good, then Im not happy hes gone.

What the hell happened to that lad?!? Big fanfare when he signed and scored on his debut, then he fell off the face of the Earth.

heard ventre is training with chesterfield, dont know why never really got game time under cook

  • Registered Users Posts: 354 ✭✭srfc19

he played practically every game under Cookie....best mates, it just wasnt untill Bara came in until he started playing ball in midfield.

Cook never trusted him to play and made him hoof....playing him at FB didn't help either cos he would be brutally exposed.

    Hasn't happened yet I don't think. 5:30 start if I remember right.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,208 ✭✭✭✭NIMAN

OK, I have seen 4pm and 5pm listed in different sites.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,432 ✭✭✭✭The_Kew_Tour

    Saw 4pm in CCFC website.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,086 ✭✭✭markc1184

Lots of different times bandied about. Think the event itself was to start at 5 with all the politicians and execs etc having a chit chat and then the draw was to start at 5:30 but that's been delayed now too waiting on Sligo to arrive.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,208 ✭✭✭✭NIMAN

    Bloody Sligo !

Big shots now that they won the league, thinking they can keep us all waiting.

Any Sligo fans know why the club has moved away from Jako, thought it was strange with Jako being based in Sligo.

Umbro are paying them 150k over 3 years with the potential to rise to 240

Keith Ward leaves Bohs for Dundalk.
    Balls.

Ah, tis going to be another rough year. Rougher, it seems.

Danny Murphy (1 year) & Ian Turner (2 years) sign for 2013.

Danny Murphy still one of the best in the league and left back is not a position easily filled.

Turner made big strides last season when he moved onto the right side of midfield. By know means the finished article yet. Hope there is more improvement to come.

On the bright side we have an established management team and a fair few players staying with one year more experience and with all the signings being announced already we will get a proper preseason in for a change.

Limerick sign Val Feeney from Athlone.
Bit odd as he is signing for their U19 team, even though our U19s are ahead of them, and unbeaten, in the League. I presume he hoping to push into the 1st team but with them managerless at the moment it seems odd. ex-ATFC Tommy Barrett is over their U19's.

Decent player, bit small & light, but he done well when he got a run with our 1st team.

Is there no groups in the Setanta cup anymore?

    That Sligo shirt is vile.

Ward was good on his day, but horrifically inconsistent, disappointed to see him go, but wouldn't worry that much about it

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Lot of chat up here in the NW that Derry City have signed Michael Rafter from Dundalk (and are also after Mark Griffin).

I don't like the collar. Looks like it is one of those built in ones. I pretty much hate umbro gear full stop anyway.

2 players from UCD I think, posts about it here a couple of weeks ago, Nangle and someone else. And Niall Forrester signed from Sacred Heart

Brushie to Shams? Assume hes either been told hes starting or hes getting buckets of money. Probably both.

Hes lived here for about six years now, including the time when he was at Shams last. Hes just after marrying a Sligo girl too.

Happy to have Keith Ward back at Dundalk. Played well for us in his first spell at the club and was very good against us last year when we played Bohs. We've just signed Andy Boyle as well from Shels. Anybody know if he's any use?

I think it's the 2 year deal that is key. He has a family to consider and stuff.

If he goes I don't have a problem with it, but I'd love if he stays as all the lads seem to love having him around.

Where is Sligos Peno keeper these days?

Coach now. Think he might have been the 3rd keeper too if Brush and Rodgers got injured.

Likewise I hope Brushie stays. Even if he's not playing it's always good to have those kind of characters in the dressingroom. Plus as 2nd choice keepers go in the league he'd be hard to beat. Could hardly grudge him if he left though

Decent enough, needs players around him that have experience imo. Shortall rumoured to be in talks with Dundalk too.

Link up with UCC & Cork City FC announced today.

    http://thedailyshift.com/2012/12/10/university-college-cork-and-cork-city-fc-announce-four-year-partnership/

We are not the first club to do this but something that was long overdue down here. Roddy was talking about a similar initiative with the IT in Athlone on Newstalk. We've seen how successful UCD have been over the years. Might be the difference in a few young players signing for us in the next few years.

    More Positive news. :)

Dean Delaney rumoured to have signed for us!
