google chrome wont work

i had a quick look in other threads here but couldnt find a solution.
sorry if its been posted before.

google chrome froze on me lastnight and i ended it in task manager and shut down the laptop. but when i went on today and tried to use it it wont connect to the internet for me. I'm using Internet explorer now and its working fine.

heres what it says when i open chrome


dunno if its any help, means nothing to me anyway. any help would be great

Try checking out here..... Seems to be lots of causes........and fixes.

thanks back up and working with everything ok.

heres what i did after looking at that link if anyone ever gets the same problem




I had the same error 10 with McAfee as my virus software... Here's how I fixed it:

Click your start button
Select "All Programs"
Select "McAfee"
Select "Firewall"
click "settings"
Click "restore defaults"
Note: Google Chrome works now
