Last Friday, I set up my first bank account.
A student savings account, with AIB.

Today I received two lodgement booklets.

I want to link my Paypal account, with my Bank account.

I need a "Bank Sort Code" (6 digits)
    How do I find/get it?

It'll be on the lodgement book. It's a 6 digit number beginning with 93.

http://www.aib.ie/personal/home/branch-locator-list will give the relevant sort code - search by your branch.

    Cheers everyone. I got it.

I now have to wait 2 business days, to see if Paypal sent two transfers to my account.

It's Thursday, which means I'll have to wait around 5 days.
What a load of ****e. I will have to wait over 2 weeks, to purchase stuff online. (Since creating an account)

What's the easiest way, to check my account?

Do I have to go to my branch, or can I do it online?

If you've registered for online banking, you can do it online. I'd imagine they started that ball rolling when you opened the account.

It's now asking me for a registration code.
How do I get that? I was never given this information.

Did you register at www.aib.ie/register and hit submit request?

You will then be sent the registration code and a Personal Access Code (most likely by mail).

When you get these then you can register properly.

Or you can ring 1890724724 and try doing it over the phone.

    Hi,
I have registered for the second time now.
They told me they would ring me in the evening, and they never did.

All my details were perfect. If I ring them now, can I get the codes, instantly?

Not certain that you can but at least you will have made contact with them and will have an answer for certain.

A robot is asking me for my registration code.
Guess I have to wait for the postman.
